Our meetings begin with a brief business meeting during which we plan upcoming events and end with an entertaining program on a topic related to Scottish culture. Past program topics have included:

  • Genealogy
  • Scottish castles
  • Video showings: Braveheart, Rob Roy, Military Tattoos, etc.
  • Highland dance
  • Hogmany, the Scottish New Year’s holiday
  • Weaving
  • How to wear the kilt
  • Ghosts and other mythical beings
  • Sheep dog training
  • Scottish Sports (Shinty (Camanachd), Heavy Sports, Rugby, Curling (a Scottish ice sport))
  • Highlander Weapons and battles

Refreshments are available right before the program.
